Shahrukh Khan is an Indian actor, who has been a prominent Bollywood figure, as well as a film producer and television host. Khan was born in 1965. His father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom fighter from Peshawar, British India. His Mother , Lateef Fatima, was the adopted daughter. He married Gauri Chibber in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25 October 1991. They have two children, son Aryan, daughter Suhana. Khan has won fourteen Filmfare Awards, nine Star Screen Awards, four IIFA Awards, eight Zee Cine Awards, three Bollywood Movie Awards, two Global Indian Film Awards and many other awards. He also has won all the Best Actor awards at Star's Sabsey Favourite Kaun Awards, and was nominated for Best Actor at the Asian Film Awards.
